VOTING AND ELECTIONS

Voting is a privilege given to all citizens of the Untied States of America.  It gives us an opportunity to select those whom we feel would best represent us.  All US citizens 18 years of age and older has the right to vote.  Below is the information on what is happening in Morgan County.

2016 Election and Voter Information

2016 GENERAL ELECTION DATES

§  Oct. 11 - Last day to mail in a voter registration form

§  Oct. 18 – First group of ballots mailed. Ballots will start arriving somewhere between the 22nd and 26 of October.

§  Oct. 24 – Public Logic and Accuracy testing.

§  Nov. 1 - Last day to register in person or online to vote

§  Nov. 3 - Last day a by mail ballot can be sent out

§  Nov. 7 - By mail ballot postmark deadline.

§  Nov. 8- Election Day, Ballots may be dropped off at the clerk’s office until November 8, 2016. The office will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on November 8, 2016.
